I don't plan on playing this ever again unless an account link is created OR an event has on-site impact.

There is something missing from this and I can't put my finger on it. Lack of innovation? Nostalgia? Match 3 feels very fleeting as a trend and I wish they would've invested in another form of gameplay.

Heck, even playing upon nostalgia and creating a Neopets Gameroom app with the older, classic Flash games available. It would give them longevity with releasing new games every so often or, heck, putting them behind a paywall for in-game transactions (beyond a default set of games).

Ah well! I'll continue dreaming.

Honestly, I'm just sick of being excluded. First L&L and now this. I hope it changes, but I'm not holding my breath.

Not available for my device... Well it IS an old device, but I don't see why that would matter. It's a blipping Match-3 game! You're telling me I could technically play an MMORPG on there, but not a Match-3 game?

Comments from Peru, Finland, Netherlands, Asia, South Africa, Belgium and more.. all from people who still can't download the "worldwide available game". I was fully expecting NL and maybe Belgium to be left out again but to see comments from so many countries.. it makes me feel a little better and more hopeful that maybe we *will* actually be getting it this time when they "fix" this, but at the same time it's just sad that they managed to mess even something like this up. Or they really have no idea what worldwide means.

One comment made me laugh:
"Congrats on the worldwide launch! When will it be available outside of US?" lmao.

My case:

I live in Argentina, but it was made available for me only a couple days after the rest when the game left beta (maybe cause I took part of beta and many of us complained that we all deserved access? Who knows).

Anyway, I couldn't complete the event that time cause I'd played all 700 levels, so I couldn't do the play 50 part OR talk to Fyora.

Later (after the event), those who had completed all levels got like...a second round at them. It still says we completed 700 (or 701), but could restart at 1, but a "gold" version. I'm not sure it's any harder, but there are not tutorials like the first time. Also, it's just the match 3 part.

Now, I can take part of the event (which is identical to the first time), and I found the "talk to Fyora" part, which we still wouldn't be able to do, already checked. All the other parts are registering well, so I'd THINK I can win the prizes this time.

From what it says, people who completed the event the first time can't do it again, but both those who took part but didn't completed it AND the one who didn't at all should be able this time.

It is not true that those of us who didn't completed need to reset something (that what it says there). It was already reset for me, except the step that is auto checked (wasn't before).

I signed back in with the update and it's reset my level to 1 but everything else is just as I left it when I maxed out on levels. It won't let me play any, either. Sigh. I wish I could wipe it completely off my phone and start all over again!

@dillpickles You mean you can't play at all? Like I said, for me it wasn't a level reset, but more of a second round at all levels. The level numbers now surrounded by gold color (can't remember how they call it, champion sth) , and I can play normally...

I am sadly out of levels to play. Which means I still can't play the event. Goodness. I have never reached the end of levels in a game before. When anxiety and a new game release coincide the game goes by FAST.

You already played the 700 levels on the second round? Wow! This second chance at the event got me at around 250, so all good! I'd advise, if they end up allowing a 3rd round or add actual new levels, to avoid playing them all in case of yet another event. Cause evidently they have no idea how to make events recognize already played levels.

I've finished the app TWICE, too.

To me? That is PLENTY of time to either ADD NEW LEVELS or perhaps? FIGURE OUT that ppl don't want to wait for permission to start all over AGAIN. I use the app to stay distracted during travel...highways scare the bugger outta me. My husband would also *lurve* it if they'd update or allow folks to start again--keeps me from sucking air through my teeth and flipping out for no reason on the road. (poor guy!)

@yekith - nope, I couldn't play anything. The number 1 was still surrounded green, but it didn't let me do anything else.
I ended up completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and now it lets me play again with the new gold levels.
The only issues I have now is that the neojournal is locked (at some point I uninstalled/reinstalled and it reset the game for me and never actually popped up with the neojournal, so that doesn't work for me, nor does the daily bonus, so I don't have Shims or Kello. Frustrating.

After the updated that added the gold levels, the journal appeared in a weird place for me and seemed to not be working, but then next time it was fine again!

@yekith I've only played the levels once. I am "reset" back to 1 now and can't play a second time. Which would be nice since it is an oddly soothing game for my mental health calming.

I started playing on December 22 and I am on level 11 of the champion levels. I have never had Shims or Kello and I've never seen a journal.

Popped back over to say - I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game like someone else did and LO! I have Champion Levels now! Yay!

This is not a Neopets game, it's just a generic game with some Neopets slapped on top of it, there's no feeling of Nostalgia, nothing interesting about the so-called story...
