  • Do I have to buy Neocash (NC) items to play Battlefield Legends?
    No, Neocash items aren't required for gameplay. However, they do enhance the gaming experience. For example, the premium NC maps give you the chance to face off against the enemy in new lands and different settings, while the NC towers can really expand your range of options when it comes to crushing the enemy! It's possible to play and win the game without purchasing NC items, though, so the choice is yours.

  • Do I still have to pay for NC towers during the game with coins after I've purchased them in the game set-up?
    Yes, all towers must be purchased with coins in the game regardless of whether they're free or purchased (“rented”) with Neocash prior to the start of the game.

  • Where can I purchase Battlefield Legends Neocash items (maps and towers)?
    Premium NC maps and towers can be purchased in-game during game set-up or in the NC Mall. The same rules and prices apply to these items, regardless of where they are purchased.

  • Can I gift NC maps or towers?
    No, sorry. NC maps and towers are not currently giftable.

  • How long can I play with NC maps and towers after purchase?
    When you purchase an NC map, it's yours to keep (it has no expiration). NC towers expire after a 30-day period, which starts immediately after purchase. This is sometimes referred to as the tower "rental period."

  • Can I purchase more than one of each NC map or tower?
    You can only purchase each NC map once. Likewise, you can only rent one of each type of NC tower at a time. Once your rental period for an NC tower has ended, though, you can purchase it again, if you like.

  • Once I buy an NC tower, is there a limit to how many of them I can buy (using coins) in the game?
    No, as with the free towers, you can buy as many NC towers in the game as you want, as long as you have enough coins.

  • Why aren't the maps or towers I purchased in the game in my Inventory?
    Unlike most NC items, the premium NC maps and towers in Battlefield Legends are not placed in your regular site Inventory after purchase. However, they will be available for your use in the Battlefield Legends game, immediately after purchase.

We are still looking for a number of species specific wearables and wearables that have never been seen modeled on any pet. If you happen to own any of these items, please submit them for modeling. Also check back each week, as new wearables are added.

We are also looking for models for these rare items. If you have any of the items listed, please model them on each species of pet you own. We are also requesting to borrow the items to complete the modeling. Contact us to arrange a trade with full collateral! :D

We have a number of sick emotions still needed. Review our Emotions needed list and see if you have any of the colors we are missing. Your pet may need to be sick for a short time to complete our missing list, but you can take them down to the healing springs for a free healing when we are done! There are a number of emotions that are glitched. If you find an error with your pet, either the wrong or missing mouth and eyes or a missing tail, please submit a ticket to TNT so that these errors can be corrected.

(Perfect for finding just the right image for a new lookup, or for paying tribute to Dr. Sloth by using one of his greatest inventions.)

New Search Prefixes
In addition to the other search prefixes we provided, such as height:, width:, incat:, etc., we're introducing five new ones:
  • minwidth: For restricting results to images greater than or equal to a desired width.
  • maxwidth: For restricting results to images less than or equal to a desired width.
  • minheight: For restricting results to images greater than or equal to a desired height.
  • maxheight: For restricting results to images less than or equal to a desired height.
  • type: For returning results of a certain file extension, e.g. PNG, GIF, etc.

Advanced Search Page
If you don't know how to use the search prefixes (they're easy, though! Take a read through the FAQ for more info), then we've created a long awaited advanced search page that you can use to input the information you want to search for, and then have a query constructed for you. It's easy and let's you complete some pretty advanced image searching. :) For future reference, the advanced search page will be linked underneath of the normal search box.

Congratulations! Now, I'm sure the rest of you have lots of questions. Who or what was TNTDWSSC? Why did Jellyneo have a contract with them in the first place? I'm afraid I can't elaborate on that at the moment. Perhaps in the future, when another chain of events have been set into motion...

You might also be wondering when trophies will be released. The staff members and I are taking today off to celebrate JN's birthday. Tomorrow, I'll assemble a team to go over each phase's stats in detail, and they'll do some jiggery pokery to figure out the trophy tier cutoffs. They'll also have to write up some code to award trophies, generate high score tables, and so on, so the whole process could take as long as a week. We plan to eventually keep Soda Wars puzzles and pages up on the site, just in case you have a hankering for factory work (or getting yelled at by irate Yurbles). It will take some time for this to be sorted out and accomplished. You will of course no longer be able to contribute points to a company.

But enough talk about work...

In it, you'll find countless artifacts of Neopia's past, from old pet designs to a timeline of Neopian history. Upon entering the main lobby, you may also find an old friend welcoming you in to browse the collections.

The Museum currently plays host to four different exhibits, each representing a special chunk of Neopia's rich history.

Neopian Timeline
The Museum staff has put together a vast timeline of Neopia's most significant events, dating all the way back to Year 1. Did you know Dr. Sloth first landed on Neopia in the Lost Desert in Year 3? How about that customisation was released in Year 9? If not, we recommend brushing up on your Neopian history.

Image Galleries
The Museum has also installed vast image galleries chronicling the changes in Neopian artwork over the past ten or so years. It features rare items such as the Purple Barney Grarrl and the various makeovers that each of the elemental faeries received.

Old Pages
Also featured in the Museum is an exhibit dedicated to the older places in Neopia, such as the unreleased Wadjets and Ladders and the original source of magma in Neopia, Tyrannia's Volcano.

Plot Summaries
Last, but certainly not least, is a mammoth collection of summaries from each of Neopets' plots. Remember the Hunt for the Battledome? How about Sacrificers, or the Ski Lodge Mystery? Well, neither did the Museum staff, so for this exhibit they called on Herdy from the Book of Ages to bring his expertise and write what is sure to be a popular exhibit.

We took all of that down last night, however, because we have a brand new area dedicated to modeling!

We've consolidated our emotions needed lists and our models needed lists into one section for you to browse. All species and all items are listed, so you can help out with whatever wearables and pets you may have, not necessarily the ones we're asking for at a certain time.

Best of all, the new modeling section includes a quick form to input your pet's name so that we can check it and add the missing data we need. You no longer need to send in a bug report or join our forums to contribute... simply fill out the form with your pet's name, submit, and you're done! Full instructions are on the main page of the modeling section, so please read them before submitting.

We appreciate any and all help you can give by modeling for us. :) Once the list of things we need gets down to zero... we'll be able to release a brand new JN department that is currently being overseen by our Lenny Wizard friend over there. :D *Oooh, sounds mysterious*

The Baby Elephante Hat has existed ever since customisation was released, but TNT has never activated it to go along with the pet. If you would like this item to be activated and for your Baby Elephante to once again reclaim its hat, please send a bug report to TNT. We've tried to get them to fix it, but the support department refuses to forward our report along unless we own a Baby Elephante. So please send in your own reports and get your pet fixed! :)

Staff Sodas Leaked, Investigation Pending
Over the past few days, there have been reports of sodas being given out on Jellyneo (JN). These sodas came from a supply reserved especially for staff members, so their appearance in public has ignited much discussion. However, more disturbing is the fact that the sodas have abnormal tastes that don't comply with standards set forth in Jellyneo's contract with TNTDWSSC -- not to be confused with TNT -- the company that stocks the staff soda machine. While this is being treated as an isolated incident by JN, those who drank the sodas are still experiencing stomach aches, spontaneous hiccups, and diminishing reverence for Dr. Sloth.


An emergency response team has been formed to look in to the issue and the JN administrators are sure the situation will remain under control. At a press conference scheduled later today, they will announce more details, including how you can help. Rumour has it that trophies will be awarded to top helpers. Further updates on soda will be posted to the soda crisis news page. A jnAccount is required if you want to participate, so if you don't have one, you'll have to register. jnSafety Team Alert: Neopets is on alert once again with more scammed accounts. These can take place in user shops, Neomail or on the Neoboards. You need to be careful of any links or suspicious content present on any of these pages. A common scam is a cheaply priced codestone. The price may lure you in, but you will quickly find out that it was just a scam. Review our Neopets Account Safety Guide to find more tips and tricks to keep your account safe. If you ever find yourself in this situation and need some advice, you can join the discussions on our Frozen Account forum. And remember, when submitting a support ticket to TNT, only submit once and wait for a response. Sending in multiple tickets only creates a backlog and it will take longer for them to sort out your account problems.


Emotions and Wearables Searching: You may have noticed the links at the bottom of each news post. We are still collecting pet emotions and we need your help. Every species has been added to the emotions needed list. If you have any of the Neopet/colour combos we need, please send in a bug report with the pet name! :) We are also looking for a number of wearable items to be modeled. Please check our wearables needed list each week to see if you can help us out. The sooner we get these completed, the faster we can release new projects for you to enjoy. :D

Estimated Values and Neohomes Item Previews: Our Item Database staff are hard at work compiling a list of the Estimated Values of all the rarity 99 and rarity 100 items. These items will be classified in your SDB as Super Rare and Ultra Rare. If you think you may have the information we are looking for, head over to this forum topic. We also need previews of Neohomes 2.0 Items. We have a list of about 400 more items that need previews for our Item Database.
