Key Quest

Key Quest has been discontinued! Since Neopets transitioned to new servers in September 2014, Key Quest has been offline. In July 2018, it was announced that Key Quest was planned to return as a mobile app, but in December 2019 those plans were officially confirmed as canceled.

Power-Ups

If you land on any of the power-up spaces while traversing the Key Quest game board, you'll randomly receive one of the power-ups below!

Each one is listed with its name, picture, effect, how many players are required for it to show up and the flavor text you can find on the card itself, along with other extra details!

Every time it is your turn, you will have the opportunity to roll the die or use a power-up. If you choose to use a power-up, you'll also get to roll the die right after the power-up is used, meaning that you won't lose your turn for a die roll! However, if you initially choose to use a power-up but then decide to not use one, you have the option of "X-ing" out of the Choosing A Powerup screen. You will then be forced to roll. :P

There are also Super Power-Ups, which have similar effects to normal power-ups, but are more powerful! You can only get Super Power-Ups by landing on the corresponding Alignment space for your token. (Meaning that if your token is a Dark-aligned token, you must land on the Dark Alignment space in order to get a Super Power-Up.)

Inside the player boxes in the top-left of the screen, you can see what power-ups your opponents have.

Viewing Power-Ups.
