In Cocoa Puffs, your goal is to solve the crosswords as fast as possible. To play the bonus levels, successfully complete any level (including bonus) and restart the game/send your score. Then click on ‘Bonus’ underneath the regular levels, Novice and Expert. However, to play well, you will almost have to memorize the answers by practicing. With enough practice, one of the best strategies is to stare at the across clues when the game starts and quickly type in the answers without glancing at the crossword. When you get to the down clues, remember that every word intersects another, and fill in the missing spaces accordingly. If the game starts with a Down clue highlighted, do the Down clues first and look up for the across clues. Hit Tab to skip past a clue you’re not entirely sure about, but be careful if the game skips to that clue again.
Every 100 points you earn translates to 40 Neopoints. If you can do the bonus levels fast enough, the scores you want to aim for should be around 980 and 1070. To reach 1070 points, you will need to find the two bonus puzzles with wasps and wish as the first clues, across and down. Keep playing the bonus crosswords until you find them. They should look like this when you’re done.
