Upcoming Events: Petpetpet Habitats!

Dave thinks that our Spring event is KeyQuest, I agree. I have to add to the list though. I think that Petpetpet Habitats will come out around that time also. ;) (Sorry guys, doesn't look like there's any potential for a plot unless it's JTTLI Part Two :P)

AIR app - Simply put, an application that runs on your computer without any connection to the internet needed for it to run.

Yes, Petpetpet Habitats will be a Neopets "game" that will not require a connection to the internet. According to the paragraph below, you will only need to be connected to the internet in order to buy and sell items for your Petpetpet.

This, I will assume, will also have something to do with NeoStudios. NeoStudios is like a big umbrella. (You know, that red and white striped umbrella.) Underneath the umbrella are Neopets-related projects. Naturally, I would assume Neopets, Neopets KeyQuest, and Neopets: Petpetpet Habitats are under that umbrella. Merchandising would also go under that umbrella (mainly because you can't really have a "studio" without souvenirs :P). Feel free to disprove me in the comments. :)

Neopets showed off its AIR app PetPetPet Habitats, which looks addictively fun (even though it's aimed at kids). Imagine if you will something between Sid Meyer's Civilization and Viva Pinata. The draw of the AIR app is you can play it while offline. The only reason you need to go visit the site is to get more supplies for your virtual world and sell items in the marketplace. The AIR app is launching in the last half of April or early May.

Also, our friends over at NeoMerch have gotten their hands on a video of the demo shown yesterday. It's honestly very cool.
