Single Entry

Estimated ValueEstimated Value
['ɛstɪmɛɪtəd 'væljuː]
noun
A Neopoint price that is listed in the window that pops up when you click on an item. This number is used when releasing items into the computer-controlled Neopian shops and has nothing to do with what an item is actually worth in the Neopian economy.

Not to be confused with the "Est. Price" of an item in Jellyneo's Item Database, which is based on what users are charging for an item.
Example Usage:
"When I was a newbie, I put a Raspberry Jelly in my shop for 3000 NP because that was its Estimated Value. And I wondered why no-one was buying it..."
