If you're reading this, chances are, you're new to Jellyneo! As you may have noticed, we're a Neopets helpsite, and we've been helping your fellow Neopians ever since we set up shop online on August 22, 2004! Hopefully we'll be giving a helping hand to you now, as well!
So... what is there to do on JN, you ask? Plenty. ;) To start off, you should probably register yourself a jnAccount. It gives you access to more features that would require you to have an account, along with allowing you to participate in our site events.
Getting Started...
To get started with your jnAccount, you can register for the quite useful My Wishlists feature we have hooked up to our Item Database. Our database is a searchable catalog of every item on Neopets, and is pretty useful for finding the right food for your hungry pets, or the right piece of furniture to add to your Neohome.
So many characters, so little time...
You should also take a look at our Book of Ages, a gigantic listing of every character ever mentioned on Neopets. Neopia is a big place, and we've made an attempt to keep track of as many of its citizens (and denizens) as possible, and the Book of Ages is a product of our hard working BoA team. It's great for looking up Neopians for your roleplay or NT story.
Eyries and Yurbles and Draiks... oh my!
Another popular section of JN is our Pet Directory and Rainbow Pool. In the directory, you can find the largest listing of Neopets on the web, all organized by color and species. If you'd like your own pets added, submit them now. The Rainbow Pool is also useful for finding a new color for your Neopet. You can browse all of the new poses by color or species, and clicking those smiley faces next to each pet will bring up all of the emotions of that specific pet.
Socializing Neopets style...
After that, check out our forums for a huge community of people just like you who play Neopets. You'll need to register a forum account, though, as they are separate from our jnAccount system. Once you sign up, you can chat about all sorts of topics on the various boards-- not just Neopets related things! We have over 12,000 people registered, so you're bound to meet someone with something in common. The forums are also a hot spot for discussing the most current Neopets plots and events, where users help each other out... and let everyone know how well they're doing!
