Placing your bet is very simple, all you have to do is click on the eggs you think will hatch and they will be highlighted. You can pick anywhere between 2 and 10 eggs to bet on, the number you choose will determine how many of those need to hatch in order for you to win a Neopoint reward.
Next you need to fill in the "Bet" box at the bottom, to decide how much you want to wager. The minimum bet you can place is 1 Neopoint, the maximum is based on the age of your account. You are allowed to bet 50 Neopoints, plus another 2 NP for every day you have been playing Neopets. This sounds rather confusing, but thankfully the game will do all the calculations for you and show you your individual maximum bid in bold at the top.
Since this game is based on luck, there is no special strategy for picking numbers. You can use your "lucky numbers" if you have any, you could click at random or you could let the game decide by clicking "Quick Pick" to randomise the selection. Once you're done, simply press "Hatch Those Eggs!" to get started.
The multipliers are based on how many you bet, but if you pick 10, here are the prizes:
Since it's super rare that you'll make more than five matches, you shouldn't count on it happening. :P
Max Bet Calculator
In case you'd rather do the bet calculating yourself, here's a nifty calculator so you can figure out how much you can bet at a certain account age. Either enter the number of days, or the amount you wish to bet, and click the appropriate "Calculate" button to figure out how many days you need or how much you can bet!
This game can give you something which many people want, an avatar! It appears to be mildly random, though most people report receiving it after correctly matching 4 or more eggs in a single round.
We received a tip from Moosa that the quickest way to do this is to bet 1 Neopoint, then wait for the eggs to hatch and hit the refresh button at the results page if you don't win. Doing this will generate a new, random set of 10 eggs to hatch while keeping the eggs you picked from the previous round. This isn't against the rules as you will still be charged for each time you refresh, it's just quicker than going through the whole process over and over.
Randomly awarded when playing Grarrl Keno. It's been found to be awarded most often when 4 or more numbers are matched.
